After being exposed to the painful process of obtaining a commercial mortgage, Mitch was determined to create a platform that empowered the borrower and changed the way commercial financing was secured. At the time, giving the borrower access to the capital markets while providing a superior lending experience was a problem that needed to be solved. With the help of a talented development team, Mitch was able to bring his vision to life. Mitch has been in mortgage banking for over 30 years and has overseen the closing of several billion dollars in loans. Drawing on this experience and surrounding himself with a highly skilled and diverse team, CommLoan has gone from strength to strength. Mitch will tell you that by taking the cutting-edge technology of the CommLoan platform (CUPID™), and combining it with good old-fashioned customer service, anything is possible. Mitch holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in finance.
Peeyush was introduced to Mitch through mutual friends and after hearing Mitch’s idea of digitalizing the commercial financing process, he was immediately drawn to CommLoan. From the early days of white-boarding ideas with Mitch, Peeyush and his engineering team have built the software system and workflow, which powers the CommLoan (CUPID™) platform today. Peeyush leads the technical strategy and product development team at CommLoan. Peeyush earned his bachelor’s in computer science from Portland State University and brings 25+ years of technology leadership experience. Prior to CommLoan, he has helped develop software for successful startups and taken them to multi-million-dollar valuations, has built his own software company and has provided technical consulting services to fortune 100 companies. Having experienced the CommLoan platform himself, he is even more passionate today about the prospect of transforming the commercial real estate financing model through technology.
Working in commercial financing and seeing the immense value CommLoan and the CUPID™ platform bring to the marketplace, Lindsay joined CommLoan in 2017. Since joining the team, Lindsay has created countless process improvements, operational efficiencies and continues to lead projects centered around enhancing the superior customer service provided to CommLoan’s borrowers, referral partners and lenders. Lindsay believes that if you keep your focus on the customer experience, everything else will follow. With commitment, dedication, and a lot of hard work, she knows the possibilities are endless. Lindsay’s 15+ years in financing, a master’s degree in business and leadership from Grand Canyon University, and her extensive operational experience have enabled her to be an integral part of building the company.
Eric joined CommLoan in 2015, wanting to disrupt the status quo in commercial real estate lending. He has over 30 years of sales and marketing experience, 20 of which have been in real estate lending. His focus has always been providing the borrower a superior lending experience and has brought that focus and passion to CommLoan. Having originated billions of dollars in loans, Eric and his team still treat each loan like it is the only one they are working on. Eric attended Arizona State University, studying Business and Finance.
David was immediately drawn to the CommLoan mission of creating a better borrower experience when joining the firm in 2015. Initially, David helped grow the lenders on the platform by 6X and worked closely with the software team to improve accuracy and efficiency within the loan fulfillment process. David has underwritten and closed more than $2 billion in transactions, ranging from bridge to permanent financing, across all major capital sources. He appreciates the wealth creation that real estate has to offer and has been self-managing a small portfolio of single and multifamily properties for the last 10 years. David earned a master's degree in business from W.P. Carey School of Business at ASU and holds the CCIM Designation.
Having been a business and marketing consultant to multiple SaaS startups, Vitaly quickly saw the potential in CommLoan's CUPID™ platform and the opportunity to be part of a true disrupter in the commercial lending industry. Vitaly runs several E-commerce and content websites along with his own Digital Agency that helps static websites turn into revenue generating machines.
Arun has been involved with CommLoan since 2015, overseeing the IT operations and development processes for the company. He led the effort to get the ISO certification for the CommLoan infrastructure. Arun brings his passion and over 25 years of experience in IT to keep the CUPID™ platform meeting the highest technical and security standards in the industry. In addition to his IT responsibilities, Arun is a resident motivational speaker and gives many leadership and motivational talks within the company. Prior to CommLoan, Arun worked in technical leadership roles in MNCs having operations across the globe. Arun completed his bachelor’s degree in engineering at Bangalore University and earned a master’s degree in Leadership from Dale Carnegie.
